The back yard has a pronounced downward slope from southeast to northwest, and designer Christopher Calle of Blueline Outdoor took advantage of it by positioning a beautiful swimming pool at the lowest level. He elegantly carved the separate spa into its own space on the side of the incline overlooking the pool. Multiple terraces for planting beds are stair-stepped down several levels across the yard, gracefully descending from the top of the property to the bottom.

Our pool is the hit of our neighborhood. Neighbors regularly comment how much they love our yard and being able to see our beautiful pool and hear the water features, especially at night with the lights, fountains, and gas torches that highlight the features. When we decided to construct our new home, the pool was intended to be one of the main exterior focal points. As first-time pool owners, we had very little knowledge of the design or construction process. My husband and I are impressed with Christopher Calle's creativity and knowledge of pool design. He designed a back yard and pool area that perfectly compliments our modern home using 3D renderings to help us visualize what the space would look like from several angles inside our house. When the design became a reality, our pool and surrounding areas were just as the renderings showed...sprung to life!
